Mayor's Community Awards We're very pleased to announce that Moira Friendship Group won the "Golden Age Friendly Award" at the Mayor's Community Awards on the 19th March at the Lagan Valley Island. This special recognition celebrates our commitment to friendship, inclusion and supporting the wellbeing of older people in the Moira area. We are deeply grateful to Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council for this honor and for their continued support of community groups making a real difference locally. This award reflects the kindness, spirit and togetherness at the heart of MFG, and belongs to all our members, volunteers and supporters who make the group so special. MUD Ireland Pottery Painting MFG Enjoy Creative Afternoon at MUD Ireland, Moira Members of Moira Friendship Group had a fantastic afternoon at MUD Ireland in Moira, enjoying a fun and relaxing pottery painting class filled with creativity and laughter. First Aid & Food Hygiene Training We are delighted that our Moira Friendship Group volunteers have completed both first aid and food hygiene training. This important training reflects our commitment to the health, safety, and wellbeing of everyone who attends, while maintaining the high standard of care we strive to provide.
